NEVER BE...

What? Are you talking to me?

Yes, I am.

Never be afraid of failing, be afraid of being stuck.

Don't be stagnant. Stagnancy, is a poison of destiny and a clog in the wheel of progress. You don't become, by being stagnant. Stagnant water spells, like wise stagnant people do.

The biblical lepers, four of them reacted against stagnancy and cured themselves. Waiting for external help to take you out of stagnant situation is waiting for life. Can we take a clue from the lepers?

Firstly, they were truthful with themselves. Don't move with companies of deceivers. This company always deceive themselves by saying, " we are better than some people." Yes, you are but, you can do better. Be truthful to yourself.

Secondly, they knew that the resultant effect of stagnancy is death. “Why sit here and die”? Being stuck in a place kills initiatives, demobilizes and paralyzes creativity. Sleeping while others are at work reduces your thinking abilities.

Thirdly, they came to themselves. No one will take you out of your situation until you lead your own exit. Plan your exit program out of frustration. How long will your wife be feeding you? . For  how long will you be a family cook as  a wife? When will you leave the house and create impact in your community? Program your way out of stagnancy by leading your way out of that situation.

Fourthly, they brainstorm. When last did you think? I mean quality turn-around thoughts. Thoughts that provoke actions. Think, until your brain sweat. It takes your brain to reign in life.  Lock yourself up in a room for thinking session regularly. If you don't think, you stink. God gave you a head to be ahead in the affairs of life. Don't brainstorm with average people. Brainstorm with people that can storm up your thinking with deep and informative thoughts.

Lastly, take action. What is the essence of the above steps without action. If you fail it's just a discovery of how to it better. Don't be stuck. Take action.

Be an optimist. Not only an optimist but using Norman Vincent Peale language " a tough-minded optimist”
