WISDOM FOR WARFARE.
During Solomon's lifetime Judah and Israel, from Dan to Beersheba, lived in safety, everyone under their own vine and under their own fig tree.
I Kings 4: 25.
David was a friend of God and sophiscatedly anointed. Throughout his reign, it was cycle of warfare. If you live all your life fighting battles when will you enjoy life.
Many fight different kind of battles. Relationship battles, financial battles, career battles, health battles, spiritual battle, etc.. Please read this piece. Don't ignore.
Nothing causes warfare or tension like ignorance.
"The way of fools seems right to them, but the wise listen to advice"
Proverbs 12:15.
Solomon, was named by her mother. Solomon means "Peace" . Find out the meaning of your name. The Prophet Nathan named him , Jedidiah- the beloved of God. These two combination of names are powerful, and they worked for him.
From the above scripture, I discovered that you can live peaceably with your enemies or opposition's. Warfare strategist believes that going to war and battles is the last option in military strategy.
Taking a cue from the Iran — America tussles. Iran is threatening to go to war. The truth is both parties may not go for the conventional war. Cyber war, Yes. They both know the cost and implications of going to war.
There are battles we can avoid in life when we apply wisdom. David fought battles even on his death bed. I don't love such a lifestyle. There may be unnecessary battles that we are Fighting now, it's time to get wisdom to navigate through it. Even in the law court the judiciary system allows season for settlement, to avoid the bottleneck and red tapism of the court system.
You can't spend the good part of your life moving from one battle camp to the other. It's time to stabilize your life through wisdom.
1. Be a wisdom bank. Solomon was able to live in peace with his citizens because, of Wisdom. Spend your life, time and opportunities to garner wisdom into your barn. Go for godly wisdom that doesn't expire in the race of life. When you read the book of Proverbs daily, and meditate in it, inner strength is built in you. Read books that will enhance your habit and refine you. Your knowledge is too limited to take you far, borrow knowledge from the word of God and godly teachings.
2. Association. Association leads to assimilation. Move with people who are higher than you. Move with people that know better than you do. Don't move with people you know better than. Always remember that the company you keep determines what accompanies you. Move with people that can reprimand you when you're wrong. People who don't fear men, can't fare well in life. Always have people you can't look eye balls to eye -balls when it comes to the issue of realigning you in the path of life. Never say “I only fear Go.." There are mortal men in the form of mentors, parents that watch over our souls that heaven has positioned our way to correct us . You can't be better than the company you keep.
Proverbs 13:20
" Walk with the wise and become wise; associate with fools and get in trouble”
3. Learn Patience: Patience is a missing virtue in this microwave generation. Our generation is tired of counting money at the shops we went for card or electronic transfer. We are tired of cooking we went for fast food shop. Tired of trade union went for robotics! Bye-bye to the era of trade Unions and Labour Lawyers. Robots don't need a Union.
Patience builds in you stronger resilience.
My encouragement to my readers is, don't cut what can be untied. Never rush into battle. You don't know the strength of your opposition. Don't assume.
