EVENT PLANNER Recently, I had the privilege of taking a crash program in event planning. It was beautiful and expository. I am a committed learner because leaders are learner's. Life has been defined as a series of events. Chains of events, from birth to death. If life is an event, you are the event planner. The size of your event determines the number of your team. You can't run a big event without a strong and effective team member. In life we can't do without a team. No man wins in isolation. No man is an island. In choosing your team players. Go for partners that have emotional intelligence. Team up and play with people that are emotionally stable. In life you will meet all manner of people but you must be emotionally balanced not to throw away your goals. Jimmy could not handle opposition from within. He lost control of his life. Pressures of life always come. Disappointment, temporal set back ,and criticism are part of the package, but choose your team players wisely....

“ Lord, use me or I die”. That has been the heart cry of Brother Jimmy. He is a teacher by profession who was born again under Reinhard Bonnke’s Crusade. Talking about zeal he could be rated super. In his school in an area in Kigali nearly every student has had an encounter with Jesus. “I am not a Pastor. I am only a vessel in my master’s hands “ Those were the words from Brother Jimmy’s mouth. He was saintly than a saint and never missed any church functions. Academically he has a Master’s degree in Mathematics. What a noble profession. He was loved by his Parish priest and some parishioners while some saw him as an attention seeker. Such is the paradox of life. His fame became undeniable in his parish and beyond but, some group of brethren out of jealousy tried to sabotage his popularity and dent his image by trying to conspire against him. I rather spend 3 hours sharpening my tools for a job of 30 minutes than spending 3 hours on a work of 30 minutes due to the dullness or ineffectiveness of my tools. It's better to prepare than to decree opportunities in prayers. When preparation meets opportunities the true meaning of magic is well understood. (Though there's nothing called magic in the real sense) How can I put it ? Is there a way I can paint the picture clearer? I know we are limited in words at times. I guess I can make it clearer now. It's better to engage in capacity building than fasting and praying for 24 hours success. Accidental success may lead to accidents on the highway of success. Tony Robbins, once advice that if you don't know how to handle stress don't subscribe for success. If I am still theologically sound. I guess the Bible talks about the weight of glory. Covid 19 has changed the way the airline industry operates. Before now many airline concentrations were more on passengers lifting thus neglecting the cargo aspect of airline business. Now there’s a sensible change. Due to lack of passengers flying compared to before Cargo business is now a good source of income for the airline industry. What can we learn: 1. Strategy is the cure for stagnation. Any time something is not working for you. Go and strategize instead of shutting down. 2. Use your brain. Use your brain to reign. 3.It is only a fool that doesn’t change his mind. Don’t hold yourself into ransom by unreasonable decisions. 4.Be open to new ideas. Judith was not good looking neither comely in appearance. She shys away from the crowd . Is she having personality challenges or not sure of herself are basically questions that will run through your mortal mind when you meet Judith. One cool evening at an inter school competition. Jimmy, a social boy , one of the bad boys in that province, spoke toJudith. " Hi Judith you must be cool to camp around" . Success is not a destination but a journey.  Using the example of people in the medical field and other fields. They constantly engage in upgrading their knowledge to be relevant.  This same applies to all human beings. Where you are now is not the place God is taking you to. Keep evolving. Keep changing. Keep adding to your giftings. Take new courses to better yourself. Samsung started as a grocery shop. Today it controls 20% of South Korea. Don't die with the certificate of 10 years you are holding. Improve. God is not responsible for where you are. You are responsible for how far you go in life. Do something today. Make a call today. Nothing changes until you apply relevant Force. DEFINE IT . Fight with all your strength the temptation to be or do everything. I met this young talented lady. She is well versed in scripture, academically sound ,and financially privileged. She's from a good country in West Africa. She is not married, without a child. Whenever she listens to a successful person, she wants to be that person. When she listens to Joyce Meyer she wants to be like Joyce. Temptation of being everything. You need to look inward with the help of God to really understand what you are wired for. What do you really want in life? What kind of life do you really want? Don't silence those desires. Having written down the kind of life you want. Please write it down and re-read daily,fine tune if need be. Look for the kind of association, networking, environment that will enhance the realization of such life.
